mr. iggy and pansit
mr. iggy and a plate of yummy stir-fry noodles known as "pansit". pansit is a staple at birthdays to give the birthday celebrant long life. in filipino movies, pansit is what the daddy or the kuya of the house brings home to the family on a payday, placed in a clear plastic bag with a knot on top. pansit can also take on many forms, such as pansit malabon, pansit palabok, pansit habhab, pansit molo, pansit canton, pansit bihon among others.
for a flavor kick, pansit is sprinkled with the juice of freshly-squeezed calamansi (a little citrus fruit which is sour to the taste.)
