Schoolgirl Iggy says hello!

Schoolgirl Iggy is happy to join the sisterhood!  During recess today she went to hang out at the University of Santo Tomas Quadricentennial Square.

The University is located in Sampaloc, Manila, and is one of the oldest universities in Asia.  It is even older than Harvard!  The Quadricentennial Square is dedicated to the celebration of the university's 400th year in 2011.  Behind Schoolgirl Iggy is the Miguel de Benavides Library, which houses a big collection of old books, and is currently exhibiting Lumina Pandit, an interactive exhibition of the library's treasures that have been preserved for 400 years.

On extremely hot days Schoolgirl Iggy likes to frolic by the fountain.  She watches civil engineering students measure the fountain area with their complicated gadgets.  In the background is the St. Raymund's Building which houses the Faculty of Arts and Letters and the College of Commerce.

The Quadricentennial Square is also a good spot to meet new friends!

i like what you did to her face! and the fact that you thought of her own nickname! :)
