when one says "cake" here in the lovely Philippine Islands "Goldilocks" is sure to follow. but they are also famous for their other treats: ensaymadas, polvoron, macaroons, popcorn and native Filipino dishes such as lumpiang sariwa, dinuguan and palabok. yummy!

my favorite is the fresh lumpia.... before i flew back to NJ, i bought a dozen boxes of polvoron as "pasalubong" for family and friends. it's always part of my luggage back from the philippines.
