Last weekend, Merry Iggy (Miss Iggy from Maryland) and I strolled underneath countless blooms of Cherry Blossoms in Bethesda, MD. There are several places in Maryland where one can witness the Cherry Blossoms in full bloom and one is in Kenwood. Unlike DC's park like setting, Kenwood's Cherry Blossom trees are absolutely charming because of their residential setting; it is more quiet and idyllic. Merry Iggy and I wandered the streets and marveled at the pale pink Cherry Blossoms.
The streets were lined with these Yoshino Trees; their flowers are already pale pink which means they're almost ready to fall off the tree.
Wandering the streets of Kenwood was fairytale like.
We thought this tree has character.
Getting up close and personal with the flowers.
Merry Iggy and I spent three hours at Kenwood and we both agree that the Kenwood experience is magical.
Soon, all the Cherry Blossoms will be gone but we look forward to their beauty again next year.

Welcome to the sisterhood, Merry Iggy! I liked all your cherry blossoms photo (even those posted on your main blog) and I'm dreaming to experience that face to face.

Enjoying the beauty of Spring.
Btw,I'm here to say Thank You for the lovely postcard that you send to me.

i love how merry iggy's baby is kissing her on the cheeks! that's why i chose her for you. :)
your being further down south means you experience spring sooner than us in the northeast. no cherry blossoms for us yet, just daffodils and crocuses for now.
