museum hopping

While in Frankfurt, Miss Iggy stopped by (or actually in front of) some interesting museums:

Her favorite was the Museum for Modern Art, which featured an exhibit with works of Takashi Murakami. Unfortunately, camera weren't allowed inside. Miss Iggy didn't go home empty-handed, though. She bought a few postcards.

Miss Iggy and Wolfgang

Miss Iggy feeling inspired in front of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's statue in Frankfurt. Goethe was one of the most influential German writers. His masterpiece is Faust, a two-part drama where the protagonist makes a pact with the devil to find the true essence of life. (Sound familiar? The movie Bedazzled was based on this story)

Goethe's works later became a major source of inspiration in music, drama, poetry and philosophy.
