she ended up buying three tubes of roasted beef-flavored hot pepper paste to help recreate bibimbap back in new jersey.

miss iggy was all giggly meeting these cute snowmen at incheon international airport.

miss iggy also saw a lot of these lotte christmas trees around the duty free shops. she remembers "lotte" as this popular bubble gum brand back in the philippines. with a little googling, she found out that lotte is a big south korean conglomerate which includes candy-making as one of its businesses.

apparently, incheon international airport is the place to experience "prettiness" in all aspects. after all, it's been voted "world's best airport" by business traveler magazine "global traveler" for three years in a row.

miss iggy is greeted by one of many stone sculptures at seoul's incheon airport inviting tourists to visit the national museum of korea.

miss iggy had to hurry, though, as she had a connecting flight to catch for manila.

aboard korean air, miss iggy discovered the gastronomical delights of bibimbap, a famous korean dish which literally means "mixed rice." the rice bowl meal consists of various sliced vegetables and ground beef which you mix together with rice.

the meal comes with a tube of hot pepper paste or "gochujang" that you squeeze into the rice mixture and then mix some more for a spicy flavor. it's an essential condiment that completes the meal.

korean air actually sells their own tubes of hot pepper paste in their inflight magazine in packs of 5 (30g each) for $7.
